Preparation Day

Today is going to be a preparation day. This Saturday is going to be a special tournament. Well kinda. My 13 year old has asked to come out and spend the day with me. Hopefully she will not change her mind.

Just in case she is coming, I am going to have to go ahead and get ready. So, I just got back from Just Save where I purchased some Minute Rice, Peach Jello, and some confectioners sugar. I already had the other ingrediants. See my previous posts on how to put them together and email me if you have any quesitons.

My daughter, Brooke, has been fishing with me before. The funny thing is that she has more fun netting the fish than reeling them in. She says that it makes her tired and she would rather watch me reel them in. "Just let me net them daddy" she exclaimes. Too cute.

While I was there, I picked up some coconut flakes and 1/2 gallon of vanilla flavored almond milk. This is going to be experimental for me but I am going to put these in some instant grits.

I have never tried this before but I saw them and thought I would give them a try. Hopefully the fish will be biting better than last week.

Complete setup time will be around 45 minutes from start to finish.

I am in the process of making arrangments to picking up my pictures from my trout fishing expedition so look for them by the end of the weekend.
