Tournament Carp Fishing

I have read that some students like fishing but not many have a vast knowledge on carp fishing. In my opinion, the best way to introduce the class to the world of carp fishing is to include a picture of a fish that I was able to catch Saturday, May 31, 2014.

Pictured below is a buffalo carp and the weight was 27.9 lbs. These fish do not bite a worm on a hook or what you might think of as regular fish food.

In the coming posts, I will be including some top notch bait recipes that I will be using in live tournaments along with actual results. Generally speaking, this is unheard of in the secretive world of carp fishing.

However, it is the best method to explain what is entailed in tournament carp fishing plus if other students become interested in this type of fishing, they will not have to start from scratch and learn from the school of hard knocks.

  10. Thanks for all of the support. I hope to keep everyone interested because this is an enjoyable sport. The average size fish is over 9 lbs. That in itself makes this type of fishing fun.
